51 LUTA ANTIMANICOMIAL E REFORMA PSIQUIÁTRICA: O PROTAGONISMO DO USUÁRIO EM DEBATE

Resumo

O presente artigo se propõe a refletir sobre a participação política dos usuários da rede de saúde mental de Natal/RN, no cenário da reforma psiquiátrica brasileira, tomando como principal analisador a realização da IV Conferência de Saúde Mental Intersetorial (CSMI), na referida cidade, no ano de 2010. O interesse nessa discussão se deu através da inserção do primeiro autor deste trabalho em movimentos sociais locais, sobretudo na ABRASME/RN (Associação Brasileira de Saúde Mental) e no cenário da assistência, através de pesquisa de mestrado realizada em 2009, nos CAPS de Natal/RN. Como ponto de partida da discussão, fazemos um brevehistórico do processo de reforma psiquiátrica brasileira, bem como da participação do Movimento Nacional da Luta Antimanicomial (MLA) nesse processo. Em seguida, partindo da cartografia, enquanto perspectiva teórico-metodológica, trazemos nossa inserção na IV CSMI, problematizandoo modo como esta ocorreu, bem como o atual momento da reforma psiquiátrica, particularmente no que diz respeito ao protagonismo dos usuários nesse processo.ANTIMANICOMIAL MOVEMENT AND PSYCHIATRIC REFORM:THE PROTAGONISM OF THE USER IN DEBATEThis article reflects about the political participation of users of mental health network of Natal, in the setting of psychiatric reform in Brazil, taking as the main achievement of the analyzer IV Inter Mental Health Conference in that city in the year 2010. The interest in this discussion tooks place by inserting the first author of this work in local social movements, especially in ABRASME-RN (Brazilian association of mental health), and the scenario of healthcare through researchMasters held in 2009 in CAPS of Natal. As a starting point of the discussion, do a brief history of the Brazilian psychiatric reform process as well as the participation of the Antimanicomial Movement (MLA) in this process. Then, based on the mapping as theoretical-methodological perspective, we bring insertion in IV IMHC, questioning how this occurred, and the present situation of the psychiatric reform, particularly with regard to the protagonism of users in this process.Key words: Users.
